Things are moving right along for us. I had my GDD test last week, which thankfully I passed. Things seem to be going great for my son. His heart rate is good and he kicks up a storm. His mommy--not so great.
First I am exhausted. I actually went to the doc today because I felt as though I may be on the verge of dehydration. I was slightly dehydrated, but Dr. R felt more so that my exhaustion was 1)welcoming me to the 3rd/final trimester, 2)sleep depreviation, 3)the ugly UTI that I have, and 4)low iron. My son also loves to snuggle up beside of my rib cages, so it makes breathing a little more difficult. So, I skipped school tonight and spent the evening catching up on all your blogs.
I am also a little on the "hormonal" side. And I swear, if K says that one more time to me, I may literally knock his teeth out. (Nah, but it really is getting on my nerves.) I cry at almost everything these days. The good, the bad, the really doesn't matter---all bring out the water works. So what if I'm hormonal...I know this.
Eleven weeks to go! When did this happen? (It's acually 10 weeks since I will be having a c-section around Feb 10). I am almost in the single digits--and may I say that I am counting down the days!
Thanksgiving was awesome. My mom and mother-in-law are the best cooks ever. I certainly ate my share--and everyone else's too. I'm stressed out about Christmas shopping. I have yet to buy my first gift! Shhh! Don't tell anyone. This is so UNLIKE me!!!!
I'm glad all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thanks to those of you who checked in on me. I'm sorry for the delay.

Elaine ~ What wonderful news!! I'm so glad things are progressing well for you (well, besides Christmas shopping). I know the 3rd trimester is hard, so I hope the physical struggles you are facing will disappear as much as they can and you will get renewed energy. Counting down with you and praying for you.
~~HUGS~~
Yay for passing your GTT test, but yucko that you've been feeling so crappy. Hopefully you're on the mend now. I have 2 iron pills down and wish I could say it's giving me tons of energy like I was hoping. Realistically, it's 7:30 and I'm about to fall over on the couch and go to sleep. What happens in 3 months when we want to sleep and we have screaming babies? I predict my husband will put the dogs in charge... ;)
again the similaritis are astounding! i can sympathize and empathize with you. my 3rd trimester brought a lot of exhaustion. i had to take iron supplements due to anemia. i had frequent uti's and had to take several different prescriptions which did not make me happy!
this year, i have 2 boys and haven't had time to do a bit of shopping yet. it is stressing me out more than i would like!
and p.s....i am not a crier, but during pregnancy i cried at EVERYTHING!
glad to hear all is well! xoxo
How exciting! Only 9 more weeks. Why do you have to have a c-sec? Did I miss something that you said here before?
Hang in there -- He'll be 3 months old like my little one in no time and you'll be wondering how the time went by so fast!
Ah, I remember those sleepless nights, the getting up to pee all the time, the UTI's, the hormones, hormones and more hormones. Just hang in there a little while longer. Remember that it will all be worth it in the long run. Oh, and I always use to cry at everything...my husband would say something, anything and it would make me cry and at the end he was so frustrated with me or just give me a hard time because I was such a cry baby. It is amazing what the baby hormones can do to ya.
Hey, sweet girl!
I'm sorry you are so exhausted. I'll be praying for you specifically in the areas you listed, k?
I can't believe you are this far along already...this pregnancy has flown by, has it not!? It seems like just yesterday that you shared your wonderful news with us all. :)
I'll be praying for your hubby as well...that he keeps his mouth shut and gets to keep his teeth. LOL ;)
((HUGS & LOVE))
I am so sorry about how emotional and exhausted you are currently. I had a few days/weeks like that, but it was in the latter part of the 2nd tri. Honestly I wondered why people loved being pregnant, since it seemed like such a huge pain and drain on me physically. Things got much better. I pray they will for you too, Sweetie!!!
I'm so happy baby boy is doing so well!!! Can you believe you're almost in the single-digit weeks????
Oh yeah, I'm on injectable iron since the supplements I've been on since 11 weeks haven't done a darn thing to help.
wow, time flies so fast - you're down to 2 digits. Am sure with Christmas, it time will even fly by faster!
Hang in there!
It's getting close! I hope you're able to get all accomplished that you need to get done. Just remember that if it doesn't get done, it's not the end of the world. Regardless of what else you're doing, you're still growing a healthy baby!
Wonderful news!!!! Praying you are able to find some energy, and hey...it doesn't take too much energy to shop online! I say forget the malls and head log on!!
