CHANGE is coming....

The election is over. I am a bit relieved and disheartened. I saw this on a church billboard and wanted to pass it on:

The CHANGE America needs is found in the BIBLE.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

"My people" entails ALL people--Republicans and Democrats, All ethnic groups,ALL genders, ALL religions.

Will you join me in praying for our country?

Praying with you. When we went to bed last night we said a special prayer for all the leaders of our country. I was telling hubby this morning in the car on our way to work, we need to remember to pray for our leaders more now than ever.

How you doing? I can't believe your at the end of the 2nd trimester. Wow - how time flies.

I will be praying with you. I am a strong believer that our country needs lots of prayer now more then ever. Everytime I turn on the tv they are interviewing African Americans. I realize that this is history in the making, but I can't help, but to get chills and feel that this is the wrong way for our country. I know we can't question our God, but this one is a hard one for me to grasp. I literally feel ill about this. I need to pray for some peace because right now I don't have it. Why let a man that believes in abortion run our country? Why let a man that believes in gay marriage run our country? Why allow a man that associates with terrorists run our country? Why, Why, Why. I have so many questions and no answers.

I am praying! I take heart in Proverbs 21:1 "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases."
I praise God today because I ultimately know that HE won last night! In all that happens, there is victory for him through it, and I take such great comfort in knowing He is always in control. :)

I will definitely be praying!

We just have to remember that God is in control! We have done all we could do and now the rest is up to Him!

Wishing you peace!

I'll be praying. I was very disheartened by the outcome, but not all that surprised.

I LOVE that! It's about time we stopped bickering like teenagers and put our hope in God!

Regardless of who was elected, it is our responsibility as Christians to lift them up in prayer. I will absolutely join you in doing just that!

Thanks for the quote. I enjoy your thoughtful posts. Our leaders aside, I'm so concerned about the state of our nation. With the election over, I don't feel comforted. The best way ahead for believers is to hold fast to our faith, pray for our nation, and be ready for anything tomorrow brings. Praying with you.
