Guess the Gender of Baby K

I added a poll to the right to vote for the gender of Baby K. If you are interested in playing along, please cast your vote.

Nothing new and exciting is going on pregnancy wise. I feel great. My next doctor's appointment is Sept 9 for a check up. I am hoping to talk Dr. R into taking a peak at the baby to see the gender, but I'm not sure he will. The office policy is usually 20 weeks, and at this appointment I will only be 17 weeks. He has been known to tell patients sooner, so I am hoping that I can be one of these few. We should know by Sept 30 if we should be picking out pink or blue.

School is going really well so far. I've been trying to get organized so I don't feel so overwhelmed. I have a school lined up to begin my 40 hour field service. I have also contacted a former teacher I had growing up, so I can interview her. I am usually the typical procrastinator, but I seem to have it all together right now (which I am hoping will carry over into my teaching career).

K and I have a slow upcoming weekend. He is getting excited about hunting season--I am excited to catch up on my soaps. We may venture out tonight to my former high school's football game. What are you doing this weekend?

I love that feeling of having everything together and being on top of things!

A football game sounds fun! We had people over for Labor Day, so last weekend was hectic. I'm looking forward to a slow weekend of laziness! ;)

(Oh, I'm still having to log into my previous blogger account to leave comments. Can you allow comments from Wordpress?)

Glad to hear everything is going well. I cast my vote... so we'll see if I'm right. I like my 50/50 odds.

I hope you have a great time at the football game. We're going down to see my dad and then having a BBQ for the youth group on Sunday. It will be fun.

You know, even if you don't find out the gender then, once you do find out, you'll discover there was a wonderful mystery in not knowing, in being able to let your eyes and fingers graze over pink AND blue stuff in the store... One you find out, it changes everything. Yes, it's a lovely change. :) But there's a nice bright side for you.

I am horrible at guessing so I will obstain from voting and just be surprised!

Hunting season... *sighs* I wish I were going to be hunting this year. Well, I will when my husband comes back from the deployment. I love deer hunting with him. I know I'm not strong enough to use my bow this year, b/c I haven't been practicing, but hey rifles are good too!

SO glad to hear things are going well and you feel good!!! The 2nd tri can be pretty awesome.
